Hero Hunter has landed the lead role in an upcoming Nickelodeon movie!
The Young Dylan actor will star in the movie adaptation of Dan Gutman‘s “My Weird School,” which the network just announced got the greenlight.

Here’s a synopsis: A.J. (Hunter) hates middle school but is willing to give it a chance to prove him wrong. Upon arriving for the first day, he is convinced this year will be just like any other, until he meets his really weird teachers and soon finds himself saving the world from an alien invasion.
“We are so excited to bring this beloved book series to life with a dream cast of actors and influencers we know our audience will love, and a creative team lead by Jonathan Judge who will elevate the movie in a hilarious way for Nickelodeon’s kids and family audience,” Shauna Phelan, EVP, Live Action Series and Film, Nickelodeon & Awesomeness, shared in a statement.
Also starring in the movie are Harper Zilmer as Lex; Aaron Harris as Ryan; Nakai Takawira as Andrea; Sean “SeanDoesMagic” Sotaridona as Todd; Liv Pearsall as Mrs. LaGrange; and Adam Rose as Mr. Small.
The Really Loud House‘s Jonathan Judge will direct, with production beginning this month in Vancouver, Canada.
My Weird School will premiere day-and-date on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon channels around the world. A release date has not been revealed at this time.
