Priyanka Gandhi’s investments: Savings, mutual funds, immovable assets, and others

On Wednesday, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi declared assets valued at more than ₹12 crore in her election affidavit, detailing her diverse investments and financial holdings.

For the financial year 2023-2024, Priyanka reported a total income of ₹46.39 lakh, including rental income, bank interest, and other investments.

In terms of assets, Priyanka disclosed ₹4.24 crore in movable assets. These include deposits in three bank accounts, investments in mutual funds and PPF, a Honda CRV car gifted by her husband Robert Vadra, and over 4,400 grams (gross) of gold valued at ₹1.15 crore.

Her immovable assets total ₹7.74 crore, comprising two inherited half shares of agricultural land and a farmhouse building in the Mehrauli area of New Delhi, collectively valued at ₹2.10 crore. Additionally, she owns a self-acquired residential property in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, currently worth ₹5.63 crore.


Priyanka also noted liabilities amounting to ₹15.75 lakh. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies from the University of Sunderland, UK, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University.Also Read: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has invested in just one mutual fund
Her affidavit mentions ongoing Income Tax reassessment proceedings for the 2012-13 assessment year, with an outstanding tax liability of over ₹15 lakh.

According to the affidavit, Priyanka has ₹52,000 in cash and three savings accounts. She owns one mutual fund valued at ₹2.24 crore and a PPF account with a balance of ₹17 lakh. She also possesses household articles worth over ₹21 lakh.
