A heartfelt South movie was released in 2018, where there was no villain and no action. The movie’s compelling narrative was the only thing that made it successful in theatres. The film made many times its budget even at the box office. Every movie enthusiast was moved by the film’s plot, which masterfully depicted the recollections of school and the nostalgic feelings that clung to students even after they had moved on.

The primary protagonists of the movie, who first meet after a long period during their school years, have an unresolved love story. Even though Janu has moved on in life and is now married, her feelings for Ram return when they cross paths years later. But in the end, she gives him some advice on how to move on with his life.

96 was one of the most beloved Tamil movies of all time, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. Aditya Bhaskar, Devdarshini Chetan, Niyati Kadambi, and Bhagavathi Perumal were also a part of the film.

Under the Madras Enterprises label, the film, which was written and directed by C Prem Kumar, was a huge hit at the box office and had a tremendous reception. Many snippets from 96 are still frequently shared online, which makes its fans fall in love with the movie all over again.
