The Mumbai Police have arrested two of the three suspects, who are currently being interrogated. One suspect is from Uttar Pradesh, while the other is from Haryana. The third suspect is still at large, and efforts are underway to apprehend him. The investigation has been transferred to the Crime Branch.

Visuals of Siddique’s car have also emerged, showing bullet marks. Siddique was reportedly inside his car when the three individuals opened fire at him, leading to his death.

The incident took place outside his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office near Colgate Ground in Nirmal Nagar. Zeeshan is an MLA from Bandra East and belongs to the Congress party.

Meanwhile, the police have formed five teams to investigate this case. Sources within the Mumbai police stated that they will also examine the Boshnoi angle as part of the inquiry. A 9.9 mm pistol was used in the shooting, suggesting a contract killing.
