We finally have an update on the status of The Villains of Valley View, and sadly, it’s not a good one.

“All good things must come to an end… and after two incredible seasons such is the case with ‘The Villains of Valley View,’” he shared in a note posted to Twitter/X. “We’re beyond grateful to our amazing cast, writing staff and crew. We also want to thank all the loyal fans. You made us part of your family and you’ll forever be part of ours.”

“While it was never our intention to end the series on a cliffhanger, we hope that Amy, Hartley and the Maddens will live on in your hearts (and on Disney+) forever,” he continued, adding that an episode will be getting a re-run on Disney Channel this week.

“Rather than be sad, we invite everyone to join us as we rewatch of one of our favorite episodes, ‘Haunted Jukebox,’ airing on Disney Channel TOMORROW 10/3 at 7:30PM,” he shared. “Thank you again for making our show ‘a place for everyone.’”

The Villains of Valley View first premiered in June 2022 and returned for a second season a year later. In fact, JJJ exclusively premiered the season two trailer!

Seasons one and two are currently available to stream on Disney+.

Here’s a synopsis: When teenage supervillain Havoc stands up to the head of the League of Villains, her family is forced to change their identities and relocate to a sleepy Texas suburb. With the help of her effervescent new neighbor Hartley, Havoc — going incognito as Amy — must somehow hide her superpowers and quell her villainous nature in favor of something she and the rest of her family have fought against all their lives: being normal.

Starring in the show were Isabella Pappas as Havoc/Amy, Lucy Davis as Eva/Surge, James Patrick Stuart as Vic/Kraniac, Malachi Barton as Colby/Flashform, Reed Horstmann as Jake/Chaos and Kayden Muller-Janssen as Hartley, as well as Patricia Belcher recurring as Celia.

Isabella has been starring on London’s West End in Stranger Things: The First Shadow, where she will wrap up her run this November.

Malachi will next be seen on Disney in the upcoming Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, and he’s heading out on the road for the Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour!
