Recently, the makers of Citadel held the screening of both Citadel: Honey Bunny (India) and Citadel: Diana (Italy). The event saw a notable presence of stars including Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Matilda De Angelis, although Varun Dhawan, who also stars in the Indian version of Citadel, was conspicuously absent from the event photographs.

Varun Dhawan’s Playful Nod to the Event
Despite not being present in the official event photos, Varun Dhawan made a humorous reference to his attendance through his Instagram account. Dhawan shared a series of edited images from the event, featuring a cutout of himself. He captioned the post with a light-hearted, “I was there!!” The post prompted a playful reaction from Prime Video, who remarked, “haters will say it’s photoshopped.”
The screening also saw the presence of the director duo Raj and DK, who helmed Citadel: Honey Bunny. Their collaboration with the Russo Brothers, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, who executive produced the Citadel series, added to the event’s significance. The series, featuring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, has garnered substantial attention since its teaser release in August.
Coming back to the event, Priyanka Chopra was a prominent attendee at the London screening. She made headlines with her striking appearance in a bright red bodycon dress. Accompanying her were Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the leading lady of Citadel: Honey Bunny (India), and Matilda De Angelis (Citadel – Italy). Samantha made a chic statement in a navy blue dress, while Matilda opted for a golden outfit. The trio posed together, radiating camaraderie and joy.
Citadel: Honey Bunny also boasts an impressive cast including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saqib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher. The series promises to be a significant addition to the Citadel franchise.
