Vande Bharat trains: Third eye: New trains and an MLA on track, let’s see who’s prayers are heard, and no showcasing of show cause

New trains and an MLA on track: While PM Narendra Modi flagged off several Vande Bharat trains on Sunday from Jamshedpur, some MPs and MLAs decided to flag off the trains on their arrival at stations falling in their constituencies. When newly launched Agra Varanasi Vande Bharat Express reached Etawah junction, BJP and Samajwadi Party leaders started jostling to flag off the train and get pictures clicked. In this, Etawah Sadar BJP MLA Sarita Bhadoria fell on the railway track. The loco pilot was immediately informed to stop the train and the MLA was pulled up to safety by party workers.

Let’s see who’s prayers are heard

Maharashtra minister Shambhuraj Desai and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Ambadas Danve met each other when they came almost at the same time to pray at Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple in Pune a few days back. Desai later claimed that he prayed for Eknath Shinde to be the next chief minister again. Danve, in turn, claimed that the people of the state are wishing for Uddhav to be the next chief minister.

No showcasing of show cause

With Disciplinary Action Committee of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee’s show causing five leaders, including three MLAs, for breach of party discipline irking the leaders and its supporters, the party has decided to refrain from publicly announcing such show cause decisions. APCC president Bhupen Kumar Borah said this was an internal matter, and it is quite disappointing to know that this surfaced before the media. The party has now mandated such show cause notice will remain an internal matter and there will be no press statement.
