New Delhi – Hero MotoCorp has announced a significant triumph with its recent auction of ‘The Centennial,’ a special collector’s motorcycle. The auction, which concluded with considerable enthusiasm, generated a remarkable Rs. 8.58 Crores for charitable causes, honoring the influential legacy of the company’s Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal.
This auction featured just 100 hand-crafted editions of ‘The Centennial,’ each meticulously created to pay tribute to Dr. Munjal’s legacy and Hero MotoCorp’s dedication to superior engineering and design. The top bid of Rs. 20.30 lakh was placed for the CE100 model. The strong interest and bids highlight the deep respect for Dr. Munjal’s impact, with all proceeds supporting charitable initiatives consistent with his philanthropic values.

To further engage its global customer base, Hero MotoCorp is launching a unique contest, giving its 118+ million customers a chance to win one of the remaining 25 collector’s motorcycles. The contest will unfold in two stages: participants will first send photos and stories about the impact of their Hero products to [email protected]. These will be used to create custom visual representations through advanced AI.
In the second stage, participants will use an augmented reality (AR) filter, #MyForeverHero, to share videos of their Hero experiences on social media. A panel of judges will evaluate the entries and select the most compelling story as the winner.
The Centennial motorcycle is a pinnacle of design and engineering, featuring a lightweight aluminum swingarm, carbon fiber body panels, and custom components including precision-machined handlebars and a high-performance carbon fiber and titanium exhaust system by Akrapovic.
