The CE 02, manufactured by TVS in India, is designed as a practical, no-frills electric two-wheeler.

BMW Motorrad India has officially opened bookings for its latest electric scooter, the CE 02, which is set to hit the market by mid-September, according to Bikewale.

This marks the brand’s second electric scooter in India, following the premium CE 04, priced at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The CE 02, made in collaboration with TVS, is designed for practical urban use. Its minimalist design, featuring almost no body panels, combines style and functionality.

Under the hood, the CE 02 is powered by an air-cooled synchronous motor paired with a 2kWh battery. Buyers can opt for either a single or dual battery setup. With the single battery, the scooter offers a range of 45 km and a top speed of 45 km/h. The second battery boosts the range to 95 km.

Key features of the CE 02 include LED lights, a 3.5-inch TFT display, USB-C charging, and a keyless ride experience. The scooter is expected to be priced around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
