New Delhi: The National Testing Agency(NTA) is expected to release the examination date for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test anytime soon. Once released, candidates can go through the NEET UG examination schedule at nta.ac.in and https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. According to past trends, the NEET UG exam date is expected to be released in September. However, this is tentative. Neither NTA officials nor the UGC Chairman has officially announced the commencement of the registration date.
NEET UG 2025 Exam Date: NTA NEET Exam Schedule
Last year, the NTA released the examination calendar for the academic year 2024-25 on September 14. The NTA exam calendar pdf included the name of the examination, mode of examination, and examination dates. The exam calendar included examination dates of the various competitive examination such as Joint Entrance Examination Session 1, Joint Entrance Examination Session 2, Common University Entrance Test, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and ICAR AIEEA.
The National Testing Agency has been conducting the NEET (UG) since 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education, in pursuance of the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test(NEET-UG) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the NEET (UG) -2024 was conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The examination is usually conducted in three hours and twenty minutes.
NEET UG 2025 Exam Date: NTA NEET Registration Update
Candidates can access the NTA NEET UG examination schedule at nta.ac.in. Last year, the NEET registration portal was opened on February 9, 2024. A general category candidate is required to pay Rs 1700 as an application fee. The submission of the online NEET application form can be done by accessing the NTA website https://exams.nta.nic.in/NEET. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
As of now, the testing agency has not released the NEET registration date and time. The NTA NEET UG information bulletin will contain details such as examination pattern, marking scheme, registration date, exam schedule, and other details.
