According to Republic.com, a video of the alleged incident has surfaced and is currently under investigation by local security agencies.Authorities suspect that the gang led by Goldie Brar may be behind the attack.
This incident comes amid a larger crackdown on organized crime across multiple regions in India. Delhi Police have identified eleven gangs involved in extortion, threats, and violent crimes in the National Capital Region (NCR) in recent months. At an interstate meeting held at the Delhi Police headquarters, Commissioner Sanjay Arora highlighted the growing menace of these criminal networks. Officers from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan were also in attendance.In response to the escalating threats and extortion claims, Commissioner Arora directed law enforcement agencies to use stringent measures such as the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) to curb gang activities. The commissioner also urged officers to monitor minors associated with these gangs and to keep a close watch on social media for intelligence on their activities.
