Arshad Warsi Slams Prabhas’ Look in Kalki 2898 AD, Calls Him a ‘Joker’

Arshad Warsi is known for being upfront about his opinions, and in a recent interview, he candidly shared his thoughts on Nag Ashwin’s blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. The actor also expressed his views on Prabhas and his performance in the film. While Warsi praised Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of Ashwatthama, he was less impressed with Prabhas.

During a podcast, Unfiltered by Samdish, Arshad said, “I watched Kalki 2898 AD, which I didn’t like. It pains me when… Amit ji was unbelievable! I cannot understand that man. I swear, if I had just a fraction of his power, my life would be made. He’s unreal.”

“Prabhas, I am really sad, but why was he like a joker? Why? I want to see a Mad Max, yaar, I want to see Mel Gibson over there. What have they made him? Why do filmmakers do this? I don’t understand,” Arshad added.

Kalki 2898 AD has become one of the year’s biggest blockbusters, grossing over Rs 1100 crore worldwide and shattering numerous box office records within its first month of release. The film features a star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. The movie also includes cameos by SS Rajamouli, Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, and Ram Gopal Varma. Director Nag Ashwin is already gearing up for the film’s second installment.

During the conversation, Arshad also discussed Rajkummar Rao’s performance in Srikanth. He praised the actor, saying, “I saw Srikanth, and I liked it a lot. Rajkummar is outstanding in it.”
