Public mock scrambled eggs attempt which look like bananas

Members of the public were left in stitches after witnessing an horrific attempt at cooking scrambled eggs.

Facebook comments on the Rate My Plate post were filled with mockery from those who had seen the state of the eggs and thought something must have gone wrong in the process.

Hundreds of Facebook users were on hand to describe the terrible dish, which has since racked up hundreds of laugh reacts.

The “Scrambled Egg on Toast by Victoria S” impressed very few in the comments of the post from earlier this week, with one even suggesting a “better chef” was needed.

They wrote: “It needs bacon and a better cook.”

Other, less harsh assessments of the dish were available, with one user suggesting a frank chat with the chickens was needed. “I would have a word with the chickens, something not right there,” their comment read.

Another added: “I love scrambled eggs on toast, but those are an odd colour.” A third joked: “There’s nothing like scrambled eggs on toast… and that’s nothing like scrambled eggs on toast.”

Some assumed the food was not eggs but “mashed bananas” as one user thought, while another was worried over the colour of the eggs as they had a similar problem.

They wrote: “I’m a good cook snd my scrambled eggs went that colour this week. I’ve never seen them do that before! What are they feeding our chickens?! UK free range eggs (supermarket through no choice).”

Other users confirmed free range eggs are the way to go for getting the perfect, fluffy scrambled eggs. Unlike the ones featured in the Rate My Plate image, one commenter suggested the cooking method for making better meals.

“Use butter, free-range eggs, keep stirring until they’re fluffy and, just before they start setting, on to the toast,” they claimed.
