Mercedes-Benz launches the AMG GLC 43 Coupé and CLE 300 Cabriolet in India, enhancing luxury and performance while inaugurating a new 80,000 sq ft facility in Pune.
Pune. Mercedes-Benz has expanded its luxury vehicle lineup in India with the launch of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé and the Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line. The event also marked the inauguration of a significant luxury facility in Pune, showcasing the brand’s ongoing commitment to the Indian market.
New Luxury Facility in Pune
The Pune facility, developed in partnership with BU Bhandari, spans 80,000 square feet, making it one of Mercedes-Benz’s largest in India. This opening is part of Mercedes-Benz’s plan to upgrade 25 facilities across India to meet international standards by the end of 2024. The move highlights the company’s dedication to enhancing customer service and experience.
‘Mobility to Delight’ Initiative
Mercedes-Benz has also introduced the ‘Mobility to Delight’ initiative, aimed at offering customers a more convenient and enjoyable experience while their vehicles are being serviced. This program promises to make vehicle servicing more seamless and satisfying for Mercedes-Benz owners across India.
Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé: High-Performance Excellence
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé is equipped with a powerful 2.0-litre (M139) four-cylinder engine, delivering 310 kW (421 hp) and 500 Nm of torque. This engine, inspired by Formula 1™ technology, features an electric exhaust gas turbocharger that minimizes turbo lag, offering a more responsive driving experience.
In a first for the AMG GLC 43, the engine adheres to the ‘One Man One Engine’ philosophy, handcrafted in Affalterbach. The vehicle also includes AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adjustable damping and rear axle steering for enhanced agility and comfort. The AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, featuring dynamic engine mounts, red brake calipers, and a “RACE” drive program, further amplifies its sporty appeal.
The Coupé’s design is characterized by a sleek, sporty silhouette with a seamless transition to the rear. Inside, the Burmester® 3D surround sound system with 15 speakers delivers a rich audio experience. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé is priced at INR 110.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line: Luxury and Freedom
The Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line is designed for those who value luxury and freedom. The car features a range of standard amenities, including AIRCAP®, AIRSCARF®, an acoustic fabric soft-top, and a Burmester® 3D Surround Sound system. It also introduces the third generation of the MBUX infotainment system with onboard entertainment and customizable routines.
Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a 48v Mild Hybrid system, the CLE 300 Cabriolet offers 190 kW (258 hp) and an overboost function for extra performance. The cabin exudes sophistication with dynamic ambient lighting, chrome trim, and leather upholstery. Importantly, it is the first Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet to include separate head airbags for rear passengers as standard.
This model will be available exclusively online, reflecting Mercedes-Benz’s strategy to enhance its digital retail presence. The Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet AMG Line is priced at INR 110 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Mercedes-Benz also announced the upcoming launch of the luxurious EQS Maybach SUV in India on September 5, 2024, expected to set new standards in the electric vehicle segment.
