Junaid’s performance in the movie that’s now streaming on Netflix, has been widely recognized and appreciated. What makes this achievement even more special is that Junaid secured the role through his own efforts, independently managing to get the part through auditions and selecting the script without any help from his father.
Reflecting on his son’s debut, Aamir Khan, recently shared his thoughts on Junaid’s performance in during an interaction with Instant Bollywood. The seasoned actor expressed his immense relief and gratitude that audiences have appreciated Junaid’s work. He particularly noted that Junaid chose an unconventional story for his debut. “Mujhe ye bhot khushi hoti hai ki ye har cheez usne apne khud ke dum pe ki hai,” Aamir remarked, expressing his joy. He also wished his son well, noting that this promising start could pave the way for a fruitful career in the industry.
