A security firm is offering complimentary door security personnel for children’s holiday camps and events in the wake of the devastating mass stabbing in Southport, which claimed the lives of three young children under 10.
The horrifying incident occurred on Monday morning during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the seaside town of Merseyside. A third child succumbed to their injuries on Tuesday following the frenzied attack that also left multiple children wounded.
Security Company Steps Up In Wake Of Tragic Incident
A North West security firm, Napier Security Services, has offered free door bouncers to children’s holiday clubs in the region worried about operating in the wake of the tragedy. The company, fully licensed for door supervision and security, made the offer in a Facebook post.
Napier Security Services stated on Facebook that they would be happy to provide staff for free to any local summer holiday clubs worried about opening due to security concerns following the recent events in Southport. They emphasised that children should be able to enjoy their summer.

The original post was shared over 4,000 times and garnered hundreds of grateful replies. In a subsequent post, Napier Security Services thanked the public for their support and mentioned that several of their door supervisors had volunteered their services.
The company expressed a willingness to provide security for any event and promised to do its best to ensure children’s events can continue. Those interested in their services can contact them directly through their Facebook page.

Shock And Sorrow Grips Town
As the town grieves, a vigil is scheduled for Tuesday evening in Southport. The event will occur at 6 pm outside the Atkinson arts venue on Lord Street. “It is entirely understandable and appropriate that local people want to gather and show their support and solidarity,” Councillor Marion Atkinson, leader of Sefton Council, said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected at this incredibly sad time,” Atkinson added. Merseyside Police released the names of the three young victims on Tuesday afternoon. The youngest, six-year-old Bebe King, perished alongside seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar.
A 17-year-old male from Banks was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following the attack. Police cordoned off the scene and a property in Banks. The motive for the horrific incident remains unclear, and authorities have ruled out terrorism as a possible cause.
On Monday, UK PM Keir Starmer, who recently faced criticism from small shop owners for announcing Labour’s ambitious workers’ rights plans, said the whole country is “deeply shocked at what they have seen and what they have heard.”
King Charles sent his “most heartfelt condolences, prayers and deepest sympathies” to the families and loved ones of the victims of the “utterly horrific” stabbings.
