HANNIBAL MEJBRI could leave Manchester United in the next few days, according to a report.
And it’s understood there is genuine interest from Rangers over bringing him to Glasgow.
It was reported last week that the Ibrox club were in advanced talks with the United wonderkid.
The Tunisian international, 21, has been at Old Trafford since he was 16 when they snapped him up from Monaco.
He’s only made 13 appearances for the Red Devils though and last season he was sent out on loan to Sevilla.
It appears he doesn’t fit into manager Erik ten Hag’s future plans at the club and he will be allowed to seek other opportunities.

He still has a year left on his current deal however, which means United are hoping to recoup a transfer fee for him if he leaves this summer.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano believes the youngster could depart the Premier League giants before the week is out.
It’s believed there is also interest from FC Copenhagen of Denmark for his signature however.
And Romano states United’s preference is to sell Hannibal rather than settle for a loan deal.
He said on The Debrief for Caught Offside about the player’s situation: “Yeah I think there will be some more exits. For example Hannibal Mejbri will be out, I think, in the next days.
“They want to sell him on a permanent transfer and there is genuine interest from Rangers.”
Boss Philippe Clement was granted a closer look at the midfielder when United defeated the Gers at Murrayfield nine days ago.
Meanwhile, Rangers chairman John Bennett has revealed the club won’t be back at Ibrox for home games until September 28 at the EARLIEST.
Gers were hit by a shipping delay in June that left them scrambling for a temporary stadium to start the new season.
They will begin the 2024/25 campaign at Hampden, rather than Murrayfield in Edinburgh, the home of Scottish rugby, which was another option.
Bennett said: “When I think about timelines, it’s an aspiration at this stage.
“I’m caveating it. There is still uncertainty.

“When I think about timelines, it’s about the timeline of us returning to our home, which we all desperately want.
“Clearly, it will be after the September international break. The question is how long after?
“We can aspire for that to be the end of September but it’s an aspiration, and I am sorry that I have to caveat this.
“It frustrates me so much that I have to caveat it, but I think I’ve given the reason for it, with the shipping situation.

“So, yes I can have an aspiration, get our people back into our home for the final game of September.
