Aamir Khan and Ex-Wife Reena Dutta To Throw Success Part For Son Junaid Khan’s Bollywood Film Maharaj

Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Reena Dutta are set to throw a major intimate success bash for Junaid Khan’s success for Maharaj.

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan made headlines with his Bollywood debut Maharaj. The movie which was released on Netflix, impressed the audience to the core. As a result, Junaid is garnering immense love for his brilliant performance in the film. Now, to celebrate the success of the movie, Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Reena Dutta are set to throw a major intimate success bash at Aamir Khan Productions office in Bandra.

According to a source, “The bash will be attended by Junaid’s friends and the cast and crew of his next few movies. He has already started shooting for the Advait Chandan-helmed romantic comedy with Khushi Kapoor, and Pritam Pyaare. He is expected to wrap up the rom-com soon.”

The success bash will be a private event, attended by close family and friends. An invited guest shared that, “Junaid was certain that he wanted to debut on his own merit. Reena and Aamir let him forge his own path. Today, they want to share their happiness with their near and dear ones.”

Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced under the Yash Raj Films banner, Maharaj is currently trending on Netflix. Apart from Junaid Khan, the movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari in key roles.

Maharaj is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862 and Saurabh Shah’s novel about the case. The movie was initially scheduled to hit the OTT giant on June 14, 2024. However, the Gujarat High Court stopped the release of the film because of the plea filed by the Hindu group as they claimed the film could incite violence against followers of Pushtimarga Sampradaya.
