A PENSIONER has been left terrified after her car was torched by thugs in a horror firebombing.
A spate of fire attacks have plagued Glenrothes, Fife, in recent weeks.
Several motors, a caravan and 13 garages have been set alight by mindless louts.
The blaze terror has left locals living in fear after four cars were hit.
One OAP whose vehicle was destroyed said she had lost her lifeline.
Mary Kane, 73, had her car torched in an early-morning attack on June 29.
The mindless act destroyed her red Mini Cooper and her neighbour’s Nissan Micra.
But she was concerned after hearing other motors had been targeted.
She told The Daily Record: “It was such a shock.
“I’m still not right after it. I feel horrible and I’m scared they are going to just keep going because they haven’t been caught and they are dangerous people.”

Mary added: “My son came in this morning and told me there was another one. It was so close to my home. I’ve lived here for 14 years and I don’t feel safe anymore.
“My car has been targeted and my neighbours got burnt to a cinder as well.
“When I heard about the third one and then the fourth one this morning, it really felt sinister. Something isn’t right here.”
Mary and her neighbour were among the first to be targeted by blaze thugs in the town.
Since the June 29 incident, other property has been torched across Glenrothes.
Two other motors on Melville Close, a Seat Arona and Vauxhall Corsa, were left completely destroyed after being set alight.
Fire crews were also scrambled to the scene of a caravan which had been torched.
In a separate alleged incident, a teenager has been charged after a row of 13 garages were destroyed by fire.
Emergency crews were called to Hill View in the town on July 8 to tackle the blaze.
Police are currently probing the other attacks, but some locals said cops are “missing in action”.
One said: “Many thanks to the fire crews again for doing a great job sadly I can’t say the same about Police Scotland missing in action again.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An investigation is under way following car fires in Melville Close, Glenrothes on Saturday, 29 June, 2024, Saturday, 13 July, 2024 and Friday, 19 July, 2024.
