Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor has reportedly been admitted to the hospital due to an unfortunate case of severe food poisoning. On Thursday Janhvi started feeling unconscious, and was immediately taken to the hospital. Multiple media reports indicate that she’s also been forced to rearrange her professional duties in the wake of her health deterioration. Scroll down to find more details.
A report by Times Now claimed, Janhvi spent Wednesday confined to the comfort of her bed. Struggling with physical fragility and anxiety, she wasn’t feeling her best. A close associate of the actor responded to the media house saying, “She postponed all her appointments on Wednesday and for the rest of the week. On Thursday, she felt even worse. So, the family decided to get her proper medical attention and got her admitted into the hospital. She is on the way to recovery now, though still very weak (sic).”
Media reports claim that, Janhvi, is expected to be discharged from the hospital on Friday, July 19. Yet, there has been no response from her regarding these reports. Interestingly, she was spotted at a publicity event for her forthcoming film ‘Ulajh’ on July 15. She was quite the attraction in her chic black and white outfit while interacting with members of the press.
Janhvi recently caught everyone’s eye with her outstanding appearances at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding functions. Together with her beau, Shikhar Pahariya, and known Bollywood faces, she was present for all the festivities, from the haldi and sangeet to the baraat.
Mr & Mrs Mahi, the last onscreen endeavour of Janhvi, featuring alongside Rajkummar Rao, evoked a diverse array of reviews post its cinema debut on May 31st. Her onboard upcoming ventures include acting alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in Devara, as well as participating in movie projects such as Ulajh, co-starring Ram Charan in RC16, and sharing the big screen with Varun Dhawan in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. All these projects fall under the banner of cinematic giant, Karan Johar.
