Marvel Comics has revealed their Red Band editions of Blood Hunt were so successful they’re all getting second printings. All five issues will get second printings for their adults-only versions of the series. The second printings will be available on August 28th.
“The Red Band pages are really interesting to me,” Larraz shared. “They allow me to convey the dark, violent, blood tone of this particular story and flex new muscles that I don’t usually get to use in a super hero comic. And I’m not going to lie, they’re so fun!”

New York, NY— July 12, 2024 — With a pulse-pounding main series and acclaimed tie-ins, BLOOD HUNT has been the hit of the summer! The new crossover event by superstars Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz has been billed as the bloodiest in Marvel Comics history, something that is exemplified in special expanded and unexpurgated RED BAND EDITIONS. Unavailable digitally and sold out at many shops, fans will get another chance to pick up the RED BAND EDITIONS of all five BLOOD HUNT issues when they return to shops on August 28.
Like other BLOOD HUNT-related second printings, they’ll feature an all-new “blood-soaked” version of Pepe Larraz’s main covers. Many retailers have requested the second printings of these first-of-its-kind RED BAND editions, and now they’ll arrive all at once for those readers who have waited patiently to experience BLOOD HUNT in all its goriest glory!
Labeled with a Parental Advisory and polybagged to keep those weak of heart from experiencing its intensity, the RED BAND EDITIONS contained extra pages of vampiric violence and more graphic art too explicit for the regular edition.
