After the launch of the Lava Yuva 5G as a budget smartphone, the homegrown brand has unveiled the Lava Blaze X 5G for Indian consumers. The all-new 5G smartphone is priced under Rs 20,000 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It also features an FHD+ display, a 64MP main camera, and much more. Lava Blaze X price in India, availability
The all-new Lava Blaze X 5G has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant. Notably, the smartphone is also available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB for Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. However, there are some bank offers as well. They can be purchased in Titanium Grey and Starlight Purple colours via the company’s official store and Amazon, starting July 20th. The Lava smartphone comes with a one-year warranty.
Lava Blaze X: what’s new
The Lava Blaze X 5G comes after the Lava Blaze Curve 5G with the same display but with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC seen of the Curve 5G. Also, the Blaze X 5G packs a dual camera setup. Meanwhile, the Blaze Curve 5G has three sensors, including an 8MP ultrawide sensor. However, the selfie sensor on the Blaze X 5G is 16MP, whereas the Blaze Curve 5G offers a 32MP sensor. Both phones offer same battery capacity and charging support.
Lava Blaze X specifications, features
The newly announced Lava Blaze X 5G boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness, similar to the Lava Blaze Curve 5G.
In terms of chipset, the Blaze X 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which we have seen on the Vivo T3 Lite, Realme Narzo N65, and OPPO A3 Pro, among others.
Regarding cameras, Lava has equipped a 64MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor, along with a 16MP selfie camera on the Blaze X smartphone. Regarding battery, the Blaze X 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W wired fast charging support.
The Lava Blaze X 5G offers 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB storage options. However, users will have the option to expand RAM via virtual RAM support. Furthermore, the phone runs on the Android 14-based operating system. It will get the Android 15 and security updates for two years.
The newly launched Blaze X 5G also includes an audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, dual SIM, 4G/5G connectivity, USB connectivity, navigation, auto-call recording, and music and video players, among several others.
