Realme GT 6 has been launched in China with a different chipset. It also has a few differences in other areas as compared to the global and Indian variants. Realme GT 6 launched globally and in India last month with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Here’s a detailed look at the Realme GT 6 Chinese variant and how it’s different from the Indian model.
Realme GT 6 price in China
- Realme GT 6 starts at CNY 2,799 (Rs 32,138 approx) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes in another variant with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,099 (Rs 35,583 approx).
- The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants of the Realme GT 6 are priced at CNY 3,399 (Rs 39,028 approx) and CNY 3,899 (Rs 44,769 approx), respectively.
- The smartphone comes in three colour options: Purple, White and Black.
Realme GT 6: what’s different
This variant of the Realme GT 6 seems to be exclusive to China and it differs from the one in India in certain areas. Starting with the chipset, the Realme GT 6 in China gets the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. In comparison, the Indian variant has the Snapdragon 8s Gen SoC. Realme has removed one camera from the Chinese variant and the sensors are also different. It’s a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor which is different from the 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor on the Indian variant.
The front camera has also been downgraded from a 32MP to a 16MP. It does have a slightly bigger 5,800mAh battery but with the same 120W fast charging. The rest of the specifications are quite the same on both variants.
Realme GT 6 Chinese variant: specifications, features
The Realme GT 6 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 6,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood of the phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone also packs a 5,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
In the photography department, the Realme GT 6 has a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera on the Realme GT 6. On the software front, the smartphone runs realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. It also comes with Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
