The upcoming Mahindra 3X0 EV is likely to start at Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more affordable compared to XUV400 EV.

After taking the market by storm with the all-new XUV 3XO (an updated version of XUV 300), the homegrown car maker Mahindra is likely to transform the vehicle into an EV.

It has been reported that the company has already started working on the same and the production is expected to begin by November this year. However, the company is yet to make an official announcement for the same.

Here’s What We Know So Far

According to the leaks, the upcoming EV, which has been codenamed Internally as S240, will be positioned below the XUV400 EV. To meet the demand, the monthly production limit is reportedly set at around 1,500-1,800 units.

Top Updates

Visually, the upcoming XUV 3XO will share the same design elements, featuring an identical road presence with a similar front fascia and rear section. The LED treatments at both ends will be there. However, some nip-and-tuck updates are expected.

The model might offer some new elements from the outside, making it stand out from the ICE version. The fuel position is likely to be replaced by the charging point.

Battery Setup

If reports are to be believed, the upcoming  XUV 3XO EV might use a 34.5kWh battery setup, which will provide lesser power and range compared XUV400 EV. Again! These are just speculations, most of the details are yet to be shared by the brand.

Expected Price

When it comes to the price range, it might fall under the price bracket between 15 lakh and go up to Rs 17 lakh. It will be more affordable than XUV400 EV, allowing the interested ones to save up to Rs 2 lakhs on the battery-powered 3XO.
