Wrestlers from CM Punk to Seth Rollins have used the briefcase as a springboard to superstardom, and now we look to this year to see which two Superstars will take their careers into their own hands. WWE Money in the Bank 2024 full card and predictions
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship
Shane: I don’t know if I want to see a competitive back and forth match between Sami and Bron or a Goldberg-esque squash. All I do know is that I think we will be crowning a new Intercontinental Champion Saturday night in Canada.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Patrick: I know they are super hot on Bron Breakker right now, rightfully so, but I don’t know if it’s his time yet. Especially coming off the record-setting reign of Gunther, hot-shotting the Intercontinental Championship so soon after Sami won it doesn’t feel right. If the IC title is truly as important as they’ve made it feel for the past couple of years, I think Sami ekes out a win here and they continue this program into SummerSlam.
Winner: Sami Zayn
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline
Shane: I’m a little torn here. Not who is going to win the match, but more with how the match ends. This is the Bloodline’s first outing as a new powerhouse faction, so a loss here really makes zero sense, so I fully expect them to win. However, do we see Solo pinning Cody clean to set up the rumored match at SummerSlam? Or, do we see Randy RKO Cody to give the Bloodline the tainted victory and thus setting up Randy vs Cody for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam instead? I, personally, would much rather see Cody/Randy, but only time will tell to see what path we will be taking heading into the biggest party of the summer.
Winners: The Bloodline
Patrick: Agreed with Shane; the Bloodline will win this match, it’s just a question of how. This will be a showcase for Jacob Fatu, who has lit this somewhat stale Bloodline story on fire once again. I’m not sure how it all goes down, but we’ll be acknowledging the Bloodline this Saturday.

IYO SKY vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Zoey Stark (Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match)
Shane: My heart’s picking between Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton as both of these women are currently on my favorite’s list – I just love the work that both have been doing. This is a fun problem to have though, because how often are two of your favorite wrestlers favored to win a big match like Money in the Bank? I think Chelsea would be more fun to watch as Ms. Money in the Bank on week to week TV, but I think Tiffy makes a stronger candidate to actually become Women’s Champion. And since I think we will see some major shenanigans with the Men’s MITB Winner/Cash-In (explained below), I need to pick the woman who I think has the better chance of actually becoming champion… I guess it’s Tiffy Time y’all!
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Patrick: I’d be pretty happy with pretty much anyone winning either briefcase this year, that’s how stacked both of these matches are. As much as I’d love to see Chelsea win it, I don’t think they are ready to elevate her to world title caliber yet. I think this match comes down to two of WWE’s favorites in the women’s division of late: Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria. Tiffy has cooled off a little since her star-making performance at Elimination Chamber back in February, so I think it’s about time to remind everybody what time it is. Plus, a hot pink briefcase with “Ms. Money in the Bank” in the Barbie font is just too good to pass up.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre (Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match)
Shane: So often in multi-men matches like this, I find myself eliminating winners for one reason or another. Chad won’t win because of the Wyatt Sicks. LA won’t win because of Logan Paul. Andrade and Carmelo won’t win just because they won’t win. That leaves me with either Jey Uso or Drew McIntyre and my heart is eliminating Jey. I have tried so ridiculously hard to get on the Jey Uso train, but I just do not see what people see in him. He is all entrance. That’s it. His matches have been the most boring and disappointing every time he has been on the card and I do not want to see him win the briefcase. My personal dislike aside, I do think Drew makes the most sense to win the briefcase. CM Punk has publicly stated that Drew will not be champion again as long as Punk is alive, this doesn’t mean that Drew can’t win the briefcase. This does mean though, that when Drew goes to cash in later in the night on Priest, CM Punk will screw him over once again. Some might argue that Drew having an unsuccessful cash in on the night he wins the briefcase would be a waste of a MITB winner, but I think it adds something to an already nuclear feud, which is another reason why I think we need a stronger Women’s winner.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Patrick: No question in my mind that Drew will win and the briefcase will be another chapter in the superb McIntyre/Punk feud. I can just picture Drew going to cash in, only to catch Punk watching with bated breath at the top of the ramp and thinking better of it. Plus, Drew has made a point of hating the very concept of the Money in the Bank briefcase, so it’s only fitting for him to have to use it to finally become champion.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship (If Priest wins, Rollins can no longer challenge for the title while Priest is champion; if Rollins wins, Priest must leave the Judgment Day)
Shane: I don’t know if any of us thought that Damian’s title reign would have lasted this long. While his reign may have gotten off to a rough start feeling legitimate with his defense against Jey Uso in France, Damian’s reign has been a pleasant surprise. I do feel very strongly that his reign will end next month when he defends against Gunther, but Priest defeating Rollins Saturday night will help to further legitimize this reign, even if it lasts just a little bit longer.
Winner: Damian Priest
Patrick: Man, I’m torn. I don’t think Priest has had a very good run as champion, and I would much rather see Gunther vs. Rollins than I would Gunther vs. Priest. However, a win against Rollins would legitimize Priest a bit and maybe add some mustard to his reign. And the stipulation of Rollins not being able to challenge Priest for the title again is far less severe and limiting than Priest being forced to leave the Judgment Day. Damian is leaving the Judgment Day when he decides to blow the whole thing up.
