OPPO F27 Pro+: what’s new
OPPO F27 Pro+ would be an upgrade over the F25 Pro that launched in India earlier this year in February. The design is quite different as the OPPO F27 Pro+ has a circular camera design at the back similar to the Find N series. It also has a vegan leather back with a Cosmos Ring around the camera sensors.
In terms of specifications, the OPPO F27 Pro+ features the same Dimensity 7050 SoC as the F25 Pro so no upgrades here. The camera bit seems more of a downgrade as there’s no ultra-wide angle camera on the F27 Pro+ and the selfie camera is an 8MP sensor. For context, the F25 Pro has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP front camera.
The highlight of the OPPO F27 Pro+ is the IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This is the highest rating that isn’t available even on flagships like the Galaxy S24 and the iPhone 15.
OPPO F27 Pro+ specifcations
OPPO F27 Pro+ features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
The smartphone has a 64MP OV64B primary camera and a 2MP depth camera at the back. For selfies, you get an 8MP front camera. On the software front, the OPPO F27 Pro+ runs ColorOS 14.0 with Android 14 layered on top.
