CAPF recruitment 2024 eligibility criteria

The educational qualification required for candidates is the successful completion of the Intermediate or Senior Secondary School (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University, or an equivalent qualification. Regarding age eligibility, candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old as of August 1, 2024.
Application fee
Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from this fee. All candidates, including those exempted, must pay the applicable service charges.
Selection process
Candidates applying for the Head Constable (HC) Ministerial/Combatant Ministerial, Havildar (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Stenographer posts must go through three stages of the recruitment exam: Physical Test, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Skill Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination (DME/RME).

CAPF exam pattern 2024

Candidates who qualify for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be invited to take the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The CBT consists of one paper with 100 objective-type questions, totaling 100 marks. The exam duration is 1 hour and 40 minutes. The subjects included in the CBT are Hindi/English Language, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, Clerical Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Each subject has 20 questions, each carrying 20 marks.
