ALLY MCCOIST is known for his love of music just as much as his passion (and skill) for football.
But that enthusiasm has led to a tongue-in-cheek impression of the Rangers legend taking the mickey out of him.
Now a popular pundit, McCoist is a regular on talkSPORT, ITV and TNT Sports, among others.
And during one game he was covering live on TV, the former pro was spotted playing air guitar in the gantry after recognising an AC/DC song over the stadium sound system.
With the cameras still rolling, he was heard saying in disbelief: “That can’t be AC/DC?
“If there’s a guitar comes in here in a minute it’s unbelievable.

“It is! It’s Hells Bells, AC/DC.
“Aw man!
“You can’t beat a bit of AC/DC man.”
He then wheeled out a story of seeing the famous rockers in their heyday.
“They’re brilliant, I saw them Glasgow Apollo 1980,” he said. “Hells Bells was the opening tune.”
In the build-up to the Euros, BBC Scotland is showing a programme called The All Star Euros Sketch Show, in the style of former footie TV favourite Only An Excuse.
Scots wrestler Grado, a Rangers fan himself who considers McCoist a hero, previously did an impersonation of the iconic striker for BBC hit show Scot Squad – for which the Gers legend got PELTERS.
And he could be in for another ribbing after this latest mock.
In the skit, Grado is seen with grey hair and on the mic in the commentary booth at a fictional footie match.
He hears Saturday Night by Whigfield over the tannoy in the clip (a favourite of Scotland and Rangers fans), and reacts in McCoist’s now-famous manner.
“Is that Whigfield?” the scene begins, as a bemused Grado looks around.
“Saturday Night! You cannae beat a bit of Whigfield, man.
“Glasgow, Clatty Pats 1994.”
The character then starts doing dance moves, mocking the goal hero’s air guitar.
Fans loved the impression Grado did of the Scottish footie icon.
One said: “This is absolutely class.”
Another said: “Brilliant… McCoist himself will be helpless!”
A third replied: “Absolutely nailed it.”
Sannie Carlson of Whigfield itself responded, saying: “Love it.”
Another clip of McCoist becoming overjoyed and rocking out to the sound of German band Rammstein to the dismay of pal Alan Brazil went viral.
His reaction was similar then, as he exclaimed: “Tell me that’s not Rammstein!
“Is that your phone?

“I’m going to see them in Germany before the Euros.
“You don’t like Rammstein, you’ve stitched me up with that.”
