Motorola Razr 50 Ultra could be a premium foldable

- The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra TENAA listing reveals the complete design and hardware specifications, including display, cameras and more.
- The images updated on the platform show there will be a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and narrow bezels across the screen.
- There will be a cover screen on the back panel and this stretches until the hinge in the middle. This is unlike the standard Razr 50, where the cover screen ends just before the hinge.

Hardware
- The TENAA certification shows the Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch foldable FHD+ OLED screen with 1080 X 2460 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- The listing also suggests the cover will sport a 4-inch OLED display with 1272×1080 pixels resolution. This is an upgrade from the 3.6-inch screen on the Razr 40 Ultra.
- The handset will measure 171.4×73.9×7.0 mm and weigh 189 grams.
- The Razr 50 Ultra will have 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB RAM options and 128GB/256 GB/512 GB /1TB storage choices.
- The octa-core chipset will have a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz. The SoC in question could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Meanwhile, the Razr 40 Ultra came with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
- The dual-battery setup includes 998mAh+2832mAh when combined results 3830mAh. Motorola could market this as 4000mAh at launch. This is a slight upgrade over the 3,800mAh unit on the Razr 40 Ultra. The 3C certification showed there will be 68W fast charging support.
- As for cameras, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra could get dual 50MP camera sensors on the back and a 32MP selfie snapper on the front. This is quite an upgrade over the 12MP + 13MP combination on the Razr 40 Ultra.
Earlier reports suggested the Razr 50 Ultra might come with an IPX8 water resistance, wireless charging, and Android 14 OS. The phone is said to be sold in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Hot Pink colours.
