During a performance in Dehradun, singer-rapper Badshah officially ended over decade long feud with fellow musician Honey Singh.

Have Badshah and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh called it quits on their dispute? On May 24, the singer-rapper halted his performance at GraFest 2024 in Dehradun to address the situation. He claimed that although he had a grudge against Singh, he was ready to let it go. Midway into his performance at GraFest 2024, Badshah said that he wanted to end the rivalry.

“There was a phase in my life where I held this grudge against one and now, I want to call it quits and leave that grudge behind- and that’s Honey Singh”, Badshah said.

He added, “I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding but then I realised when we were together, ‘jodne waale bahut kam the, todneh waale bahut the’. Today, I just want to let everyone know I’ve left that phase behind and I wish him all the best.”

Badshah acknowledged that miscommunications were the root of the split but emphasized the value of harmony. The 38-year-old rapper conveyed he wanted to move on from the past and best wishes to Honey Singh. He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) after the concert and wrote, “Peace and progress, ” with evil eye and heart emojis.

After they both quit Mafia Mundeer in 2009, Badshah and Honey Singh’s relationship deteriorated. The two parted ways following a public argument and continued to poke fun at one another on social media. There’s been a persistent animosity between them since their split, evident in their sometimes disparaging lyrics.

Singh and Badshah, who have enormous fan bases, are regarded as two of the nation’s best rappers. The two musicians formed the rap group Mafia Mundeer at the beginning with Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. Some of the hit tracks from their band include ‘Khol Botal,’ ‘Begani Naar Buri,’ and ‘Delhi ke Deewane.’

Honey Singh is yet to make a comment.
