OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro colours
The OPPO Reno 12 renders show the phone in Pink, Dark Purple and Silver colour options. While the Reno 12 Pro will have a Purple colourway in place of Silver. The Pink colour is more pronounced on the Reno 12 Pro.
OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro design
The OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro feature a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges, and slim bezels. The screen has a slight curvature towards the edges and this makes them perfect to hold in hands. The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge. The side-frame has a boxy design similar to iPhones.
The OPPO Reno 12 Pro has dual speakers, both on the top and at the bottom. The SIM tray section, USB Type-C port, and speaker vent are at the bottom. We see a secondary microphone and what looks like an IR blaster at the top.
Flipping to the back, you see a large rectangular module on the top-left corner. This houses triple cameras and an LED flash. We see the ‘AI Camera System’ text engraved. There is OPPO branding as well.
OPPO Reno 12 series specifications (expected)
The OPPO Reno 12 series specifications have been rumoured in recent times, including the chipset, cameras and others.
- Display: 6.7-inch OLED display with up to 1.5K resolution, 2772 × 1240 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1600 nits peak brightness.
- Reno 12 Pro processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Star Speed Edition.
- Reno 12 processor: The vanilla Reno 12 is rumoured to get the Dimensity 8250 chipset/Dimensity 8300 SoC.
- Cameras: 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera.
- Front camera: We might get a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies.
- RAM/Storage: Up to 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
- OS: Android 14 with ColorOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
- Battery: The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
