BREAKING: ANC orders Jacob Zuma to attend disciplinary hearing
The ANC has served its former president and now leader of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, Jacob Zuma, with a notice to appear before a disciplinary hearing for contravening party rules.
Although suspended from the party in January, Zuma technically remains a member of the ANC.

On Thursday, 2 May, North West University officially conferred an honorary doctorate upon the beloved Springbok coach Johan “Rassie” Erasmus.
Erasmus joins Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis who also received an honorary doctorate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) recently.
A 2.4m black MAMBA found in a leaf blower
A well-known snake catcher said this is a first for him, finding a 2.4-metre-long black MAMBA was found in a leaf blower in a Dawncliffe shed.
According to the snake catcher, Nick Evans, a gardener in Dawncliffe, had been seeing a black snake in a shed on many occasions.
SANParks gives update on Table Mountain National Park fires
South African National Parks (SANParks) on Thursday issued an update on the fires that have raged since freak lightning strikes took place last Sunday.
SANParks confirmed in a statement that they have largely contained the Skeleton Gorge fire in Table Mountain National Park (TMNP).
The fire burnt approximately 283 hectares of veld.
