AfriForum’s Ernst Roets in heavy metal music video

AfriForum’s Ernst Roets isn’t just a politician, but he’s also a writer and musician.

Roets is AfriForum’s controversial deputy CEO, however, he’s also part of a heavy metal band The band’s name is Sometimes the Wolf Wins (‘Soms Wen Die Wolf’).

When he isn’t involved with the civil rights organisation, he appears in live shows and music videos with the band.

The predominantly Afrikaans civil rights group drew attention when they sued the band DOOKOOM for their controversial lyrics.

`According to AfriForum, Ernst Roets is the organization’s deputy CEO.

He’s an Afrikaans rights activist, but also a performer. Soms Wen Die Wolf is an Afrikaans alternative band, which might be the last thing you’d expect to see from Roets.

The organization remains controversial, as many people believe they’re exclusively focused on Afrikaner rights over human rights. However, AfriForum says they are simply a civil rights organization.

Roets represented AfriForum against Julius Malema and others. He’s also been involved in other AfriForum court battles.

However, who would have thought that he’s also a heavy metal musician?

AfriForum is a controversial organisation, whom some people believe stands up predominantly for Afrikaner rights.

The organisation sued the band DOOKOOM, citing controversial lyrics, however lost the court case.

Roets is also a musician himself, and part of Soms Wen Die Wolf.

He dresses up as Little Red Riding Hood for the music video below.

Conservatives sometimes criticise heavy metal for its lyrics and content.

However, Roets fits right in as Rooikappie, and it’s actually a pretty good song.

The video shows Roets making his way through the forest, dressed up as a female fairy tale character.
