During a recent conversation with the BMCM crew, an India.com correspondent asked to give insights on Akshay Kumar’s box office failures in recent times and how he looks forward to ending the streak of his dearth films. Can BMCM End The Dearth Of Akshay Kumar’s Box Office Collection?
At the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan meet, the crew had a candid conversation with the correspondent. Akshay was asked to elaborate on the part where the last few of his films couldn’t make an impact in the box office collection and looking forward to if BMCM can finally be the breakthrough film that could end the streak of Akshay’s dearth box office collection.
Akshay Kumar expressed working in different kinds of categories has eventually given him results. The actor expressed, “Keeping my fingers crossed I hope so. We keep on trying for every kind of film and keep on doing it. I don’t like to stick to one genre. I like to jump from one genre to another whether successful or not successful, I have always done that from the beginning of my career, nothing has stopped me and I will keep on doing it (sic).”

Addressing his deserted streak of films, Akshay looks forward to taking a social-based film that brings a positive impact on the audience. “Something which is social, good, comedy and action films I will always keep on doing different kinds of genres. I’m not going to stick to one kind of genre (sic), Akshay expressed.
The Khiladi actor further revealed, “Kyuki log kehte hai aaj kal comedy or action bhot chal rahe hai (Because people say that comedy and action are in trend these days.) It doesn’t mean that I should only keep doing that. I myself started getting bored with that thing I want to keep on trying something new whether it’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha or Air Lift, Rustom, or many other films I’ve done (sic).”

He concluded the conversation by expressing, “Sometimes success is there, and sometimes is not. I have seen continuous 16 flops at one go in my career and I still stood there and I will keep working on it. This is one film (Bade Miyan Chote Miyan) where we have done a lot of hard work on it and I hope this film brings good luck to all of us (sic).”
