Due to the price point, it faces stiff competition from a lot of solid contenders in this bracket, such as the iQOO Z9 5G and the Redmi Note 13 5G, to name a few. While we’ve already conducted a performance comparison between the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G and the iQOO Z9 5G. Now let’s turn our attention to comparing the battery performance of the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 5G to determine which device offers a longer battery life.

Before starting the tests, we charged both devices to 100 percent and began the comparison with a video recording test. Both phones were set to record 1080p videos at 30FPS (frames per second) for 30 minutes, and the battery drain was measured in each. It’s worth noting that while the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G can record up to 4K resolution at 30FPS, the Redmi Note 13 5G is limited to 1080p at 30FPS. The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G dropped from 100 percent to 96 percent during the duration of the test, while the Redmi Note 13 5G fell from 100 percent to 92 percent. 2K video streaming
Next, we played a 30-minute YouTube video at 2K resolution for both devices to check the battery drain. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G showcases great resilience and drops from 95 percent to 90 percent after roughly 30 minutes, while the Note 13 5G drops from 90 percent to 84 percent. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G wins the round, but only marginally.

Gaming test
When it comes to gaming, we played BGMI on HD resolution and High frame rate settings on both phones for roughly 30 minutes each. At the end of the gaming session, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G’s battery decreased from 84 percent to 77 percent, while the Redmi Note 13 5G dropped from 82 percent to 74 percent. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G wins the round once more, albeit with a slight margin.

PC Mark test
The final comparison is the PC Mark battery score for each smartphone. The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G registers an impressive 16 hours and 24 minutes on the PC Mark test, while the Redmi Note 13 5G clocks 12 hours and 50 minutes on the PC Mark test. The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G wins the comparison with a substantially better PC Mark score in comparison to the Redmi Note 13 5G.

Verdict
From the tests conducted above, it’s evident that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G outshines the Redmi Note 13 5G in terms of battery performance. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G comes with 67W fast charging support, in comparison to the 33W charging on the Redmi Note 13 5G, which translates to a significantly better charging speed. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G also features a better chipset compared to the Redmi Note 13 5G, which should mean better overall performance. Therefore, if battery life, charging speeds, and performance are your priorities, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G is the better choice.
There are, however, a few important considerations to keep in mind. While the Redmi Note 13 5G may have slightly lower battery performance compared to the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, this difference is minimal and likely won’t be noticeable in day-to-day usage.
