MALTA offers travellers three holidays in one with the archipelago country being made of three islands; Malta, Comino and Gozo.
Along with more than 300 days of sunshine yearly, the beach destination is excellent all year round and offers some budget-friendly deals if you know where to look.
The island country boasts 12 Blue Flag beaches, more than 100 diving spots and plenty of opportunities for watersports.
Malta is the biggest and where you’ll find the largest amount of restaurants and hotels.
Here, you could explore Mdina’s ancient streets and the views from the Dingli Cliffs, the highest viewpoint on the island.
On the other hand, Gozo feels more like a “normal island”, with tourists coexisting with the local agriculture and fishing.
The smallest island is unspoiled Comino, which lies between the two and is a great place to get away from it all, as it is inhabited and car-free.
Malta is also said to have one of the “most interesting cuisines” in the Mediterranean.
The islands serve up their history on a platter by combining French, Arabic, Italian, and British cuisines.
