Meghan Markle dines in celebrity hotspot slammed by customers and given a two-star rating

Meghan Markle, 42, spent some quality time in Beverly Hills with fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, who designed Markle’s wedding dress, upon returning from a recent trip to Canada.

The two dined at the renowned restaurant Ciprani Beverly Hills. While Meghan had a beaming smile while leaving the restaurant donned in a long, brown cashmere coat and aviator sunglasses, it’s not apparent whether or not she had a satisfactory experience at the restaurant.

The famed Ciprani Beverly Hills situated in California, where celebrities often wine and dine at, doesn’t boast the best reviews.

It has a two out of five-star rating on Yelp, with customers leaving recent reviews about the establishment that suggest that it is not up to par with their standards.

Ciprani, a restaurant that says it offers upscale fine Italian dining, sells menu items like Homemade Baked Tagliolini with Ham, Risotto with Porcini Mushrooms, Salmon with Leek Sauce served with Rice Pilaf, and Beef Tenderloin “Tagliata” (8oz) served with Pepronata, per their menu.

Restaurant reviewers at the Beverly Hills location where Meghan dined at generally complain about unfriendly staff, “mediocre” and some cases “awful” food, canceled reservations, and a “pretentious” crowd.

One diner grumbled about a number of things, from the vibe to the food. They wrote: “This place is so awful. The space is like being in a cafeteria. The crowd and vibe is filled with old people and people thinking they’re cool.

“The other locations are way better. The food was awful and bland. Only decent thing we had was the bellini.

“The famous beef carpaccio had so much mayo and wasn’t fresh. So many other amazing Italian restaurants in the area, don’t bother going here.”

Another reviewer, who went into the establishment with an open mind and wanted to give it a fair shot, shared that they’ve been to the restaurants Miami and New York City locations which they saw as great. But now, they’re saying the Beverly Hills location is not up to par.

They wrote: “Wanted to give this place a chance but their problems persist. I have had my reservation canceled twice already. Different explanations as to why each time and no help with rescheduling. The front desk person saying the nearest availability is in a month.

“Looking at other reviews, it feels like I am not missing much when it comes to food and environment. It’s saddening to see such a poor execution from such a storied brand. I have been to the NYC and Miami locations, both of which were welcoming and warm.”
