Shashvat Seth, who had been out of sight for almost thirteen years, has returned to the screens with the web show Aarya. He was last seen in the show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 4 and now he has made an interesting comeback to acting. For the unversed, Shashvat played the complex character of Abhimanyu, whose role is expected to be grey shaded in the Sushmita Sen starrer. Recently, Seth opened up about working with the team of the popular Disney+ Hotstar web series and elaborated on his experience of working with filmmaker Ram Madhvani.

Shedding light on his experience of working with Madhvani, Shashvat Seth said, “From a magnificent guide to compassionate director, Ram Sir is everything that an actor would ask for to work with. He curates an environment to get the best out of the artist . Ram Sir is truly passionate about his work and working with him feels like a teamwork. The experience of shooting for Aarya was so positive because his way of working. He made me understand my character Abhimanyu and it’s layers so well that it turned out to an impactful one.”
Further, Shashvat concludes by adding, “As artists we need creative liberty and Ram sir always gave an opportunity to improvise so that becomes very helpful for even brainstorming. As an actor I am more than happy to have been part of the same and I think there couldn’t have been a better debut than this one.”
Aarya features Sushmita Sen in the lead role along with Sikander Kher, Tariq Vasudeva, Sohaila Kapur, and others essaying key roles. The Disney+ Hotstar show, which recently completed three seasons, features the journey of a homemaker wife of a pharma tycoon who is forced to become a drug mafia queen in a battle of survival dealing with the pressure of saving her family from the constant dangers that loom over them.
