The reunion, featuring Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres, aimed to present the award for the best TV drama, but the Duchess had prior commitments, according to a Globes insider as reported by PageSix.
The absence of Markle didn’t go unnoticed, especially after host Jo Koy delivered a sharp jab at Prince Harry and his wife, claiming they would still earn millions for doing nothing, courtesy of Netflix.

The comment came amid jokes about the release of the final series of Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ and added a touch of humour to the night.

Jo Koy’s quip about Imelda Staunton’s portrayal of the queen in ‘The Crown’ further fueled the comedic atmosphere.

Before their on-air reunion, Gina Torres revealed that Meghan Markle was not part of the cast’s text group discussing the show’s recent resurgence on Netflix.
Torres mentioned, “We don’t have her number. She’ll see; she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”
However, sources indicate that Markle remains in touch with some of her co-stars, including Sarah Rafferty.
