McDonald’s is dishing up a pocket-friendly meal deal that’s perfect for lovers on a budget this Valentine’s Day.
For just £5 per person, couples can enjoy an in-restaurant deal that delivers romance without breaking the bank.
The Meal Deal includes a choice of a Cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken, Medium Fries and a Medium Soft Drink, with an extra cheeky addition of four golden Chicken McNuggets® – beating many supermarket dine-in offers.
Sweets lovers are also in for a treat as McDonald’s re-introduces the much-loved Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, dubbed “Valentine’s Day in pie form”.
With its crunchy pink crust enveloping a silky white chocolate ganache and zesty raspberry filling, the pie is back on the menu for just £1.99 from February 12 to May 6.
While the bargain dinner deal isn’t available for delivery, those keen on staying at home can opt for the two-person McDelivery® bundle at £9.99.
The delivery deal features a pick of burgers from Big Mac®, McChicken® Sandwich, Filet-o-Fish®, Quarter PounderTM with Cheese, McPlant®, or Vegetable Deluxe along with two Medium Fries.
Delivery fees will also apply.
This announcement comes as the restaurant chain bids farewell to three beloved menu items – the barbecue Ranch Stack, Milky Way McFlurry, and the Grimace Milkshake.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom as McDonald’s has introduced some fresh items to its menu, including the much-anticipated return of the Philly Cheese Stack, a mouth-watering combination of two beef patties smothered in cheese sauce, cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions, and pickles.
The Mars McFlurry, a delightful blend of soft dairy ice cream swirled with crunchy chocolate-covered nougat pieces and topped with caramel sauce, is making a comeback until March 25 and Tropicana Apple Juice will be a new permanent fixture in the drinks selection.
