YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia is facing backlash for his recent controversial comments during his recent appearance on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Talent. In the stand-up comedy show, Ranveer asked a male contestant a ‘disturbing’ question about ‘sex with parents.’ Ranveer had asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” His remarks didn’t sit well with netizens, who slammed the YouTuber on social media. For the past two days, the controversy has dominated discussions, with some people demanding strict punitive action against Ranveer Samay.
Amidst all the drama, there have been some reports on Ranveer Allahbadia’s personal life. Several reports claim that Ranveer and his alleged girlfriend Nikki Sharma have parted ways. They have apparently unfollowed each other on Instagram. BollywoodLife decided to fact-check these claims and found that Ranveer has two Instagram accounts: @beerbiceps and @ranveerallahbadia.
On his ‘@ranveerallahbadia’ Instagram account, the YouTuber has 3.4 million followers and he follows 120 people. However, Nikki Sharma is not one of them and neither does she follow him. However, the rumoured couple still follows each other on Ranveer’s other account ‘@beerbiceps,’ which has 4.4 million followers. Considering they still follow each other and Allahbadia still has pics with a mystery girl on that account, the reports on their alleged breakup are still questionable. It is not known if the duo even followed each other on Allahbadia’s other account. We would also like to mention that Ranveer has not yet confirmed his relationship with Nikki. But the rumours have been quite strong since 2024.
In the wake of the controversy, an FIR was filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija aka The Rebel Kid and others who were involved in the India’s Got Talent episode. The FIR accuses the YouTubers, influencers, and comedians of promoting obscenity on the show, which comes under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). After the controversy, Ranveer even shared an apology video. He said, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate; it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry.”
