The 2025 MG Astor, India’s most advanced SUV, offers new features like a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, and AI-assisted tech, starting at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom.
New Delhi – JSW MG Motor has launched the 2025 MG Astor, enhancing its popular SUV with new features and competitive pricing. The updated Astor focuses on improved comfort, safety, and technology across the Shine and Select variants, while also offering Sprint, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro trims. The base model starts at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Shine variant now boasts a panoramic sunroof, a unique offering in its segment for vehicles under Rs 12.5 lakh. It also adds a six-speaker audio system. The Select trim enhances safety with six airbags and features premium ivory leatherette seats.
All 2025 Astor models include ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The upgraded i-SMART 2.0 system offers over 80 connected features and a refined user interface. JIO Voice Recognition allows for voice commands controlling weather, news, cricket scores, and more. Enhanced security comes from an Anti-Theft feature and Digital Key functionality, operable even without network access.
The Astor remains a leader in automotive AI, featuring a personal AI assistant and Level 2 ADAS with 14 autonomous functions, powered by radars and a camera. Over 50 safety features are included.
Engine options include a 1.5L MT, 1.5L CVT, and a 1.3L Turbo AT.
