The 15th edition of Aero India, the largest aerospace and defence exhibition in Asia, will take place from 10th to 14th February at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) has announced temporary flight disruptions between February 5 and 14, ahead of the 15th edition of Aero India.
This is due to airspace restrictions related to the aerospace and defence exhibition as per Hindustan Times.
In a post on X, the airport advised passengers to stay informed about changes to flight schedules and airspace closures as updated by airlines. The airport urged travellers to plan their journeys accordingly.
The message reads, “Due to the Aero India Show from February 5 to 14, passengers flying through BLR Airport should monitor updated airspace timings and flight changes. Please plan your travel time to and from the airport accordingly. Thank you for your patience.”

Aero India 2025, Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibition, will take place at the Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This year’s theme, “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities,” aims to strengthen global partnerships, promote self-reliance, and explore new opportunities in the global aerospace sector.
The first three days of the event (February 10–12) will focus on business engagements, allowing Indian and international companies to collaborate. The final two days (February 13–14) will be open to the public, featuring impressive air displays and exhibitions of military platforms.
Key highlights include the opening ceremony, the Defence Ministers’ Conclave, the CEOs’ Round Table, and aerobatic performances. The Defence Ministers’ Conclave will focus on strengthening international defence ties, with discussions on global resilience and cooperation.
Additionally, India’s “Make-in-India” initiative will be showcased at the India Pavilion, highlighting the country’s advances in defence manufacturing and technology. The iDEX Pavilion will also feature innovations from Indian start-ups, demonstrating cutting-edge products created by entrepreneurs.
