According to the case details, AAP leader Atishi and her supporters have been booked in two separate cases in Kalkaji assembly constituency for allegedly violating the model code of conduct.
Day before voting in Delhi, the capital police has registered a case against the nephew of BJP’s Kalkaji candidate Ramesh Bidhuri and AAP candidate-chief minister Atishi. Both the cases were filed in Kalkaji assembly constituency.
According to the case details, AAP leader Atishi and her supporters have been booked in two separate cases in Kalkaji assembly constituency for allegedly violating the model code of conduct.
In the first case, Atishi is said to have arrived at Fateh Singh Marg with 50-60 supporters in 10 cars. The second case has been registered against Atishi’s supporters for obstructing government work and attacking police personnel.
Taking to X, the AAP leader claimed that the Delhi police “illegally took in custody two people who were reporting and making a video of MCC violations.” She further alleged that no action was taken against those for flouting MCC.
