Kangana Ranaut’s solo directorial ‘Emergency,’ which was released on January 17, has entered its third week. The box office collection of the movie has seen both good and bad days. According to the Sacnilk report, the movie headlined by Kangana with talented stars like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Choudhary, Milind Soman, late Satish Kaushik, and more, has seen a drop on Monday. Following a decent business on the weekend (Rs 0.15 crore on Saturday and Rs. 0.19 crore on Sunday), the movie minted Rs. 0.05 crore on its third Monday.
Despite controversies, protests, and bans, ‘Emergency’ had a decent start at the box office. In its debut, the movie made Rs. 14. 3 crore. It gave the competitors – ‘Azaad’ starring Ajay Devgn and introducing Rasha Thandani and Aman Devgan, and ‘Game Changer’ featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, a tough fight, as it took charge at the box office. Thereafter, in the second week, the numbers dropped, and the movie struggled to make even a proper crore. On its third Monday, as aforementioned, the film made Rs. 0.05 crore, which took the overall earnings in India to Rs. 17.94 crore.
