Ram Charan, known as a mass hero, has reportedly reduced his remuneration for this big-budget project. The action drama has already created significant buzz among fans as it marks Ram Charan’s first collaboration with director S. Shankar, who is celebrated for blockbuster films like Indian and 2.0.
A recent report has revealed insights into Ram Charan’s decision. The RRR actor apparently lowered his fee to 35% as a gesture of goodwill for Shankar’s first directorial venture in Telugu cinema.
Did Ram Charan take a pay cut for Game Changer?
Ram Charan has reportedly reduced his fee for the highly-anticipated Game Changer despite the massive success of RRR. According to the Tollywood website Great Andhra, the mega power star, who usually charges around Rs 100 crore per film, accepted Rs 65 crore for this project.
The report also revealed that director S. Shankar charged Rs 35 crore for helming the film. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, the film’s female lead, is reportedly earning between Rs 5-7 crore for her role.
Interestingly, Ram Charan’s reduced fee is still higher than Jr NTR’s earnings for Devara. He is said to have charged Rs 60 crore for the action-packed film directed by Koratala Siva.
