It might be just our imagination, but as we step into September, the winds seem a little cooler and the weather just a tad less humid. While these subtle differences might not last very long, here’s to hoping that autumn has finally arrived.
This week, we highlight a couple of new menus that welcome the turn of the season as well as new boozy brunches and new booze offerings. Read on to see what’s new to try this weekend.
1. Hugo’s
This Tsim Sha Tsui mainstay for exquisite pan-European fare has launched an autumn game menu. The Harvest Menu features items such as wild boar, and pâté Richelieu bocal (a wild game pâté) paired with a grape and cognac jam.
Other dishes include roasted Bresse pigeon from Mieral and seared duck breast. This one is for meat lovers who want something special for the season.

2. Nicholini’s
The Conrad Hong Kong’s Italian restaurant is famous for its epic brunches and the new Ciao Italia Saturday brunch is no different. There is an antipasti buffet that includes Italian salumi, caponata and olives, and diners are served a seafood platter when they settle down to their seats.
