Dhillon’s post paid tribute to Taapsee’s character, Rani Kashyap, acknowledging her as a “leading lady” who stood by the project’s vision. She wrote, “Rani Kashyap, you have been a leading lady for me, not just with your immense talent – but with your gumption to stand with me against all odds in the endeavour to tell the most Haseen story!”

Dhillon further teased the upcoming sequel, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, referencing her character Dinesh Pandit and hinting at the film’s exploration of passionate love and its complexities.
