Released on February 9th, 2024, the film defied expectations by becoming a blockbuster despite its modest budget of under 10 crores. It raked in over 125 crores worldwide, exceeding expectations. Director Girish AD Assures Premalu 2 To Be Greater That Part 1
The buzz around “Premalu 2” is electric! Fans are already eagerly awaiting the sequel after the first film’s tremendous success, both in theaters and on streaming platforms.
Just yesterday, the filmmakers themselves took to social media to officially announce “Premalu 2,” confirming a 2025 release. The intriguing poster, featuring buildings reminiscent of Rajasthan, has sparked speculation about the film’s setting and plot. At the success meet of the from-com director Girish AD said, “I can’t say much about Premalu 2 but I can confirm that it will be more fun and energetic than the first part (sic).” He also expected the second installation will be better than the first.
A coming-of-age rom-com delight has captivated audiences with its heartwarming blend of humor and romance. Known for his expertise in teen dramas, AD delivers a film that resonates with the Gen Z crowd. Girish AD reunites with Naslen Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju, who take the lead roles in Premalu.
