MUMBAI/KALYAN: As the poll season hots up, Shiv Sena (UBT) has lost two old hands to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena: Nandurbar MLC and key tribal face Aamshya Padavi, and Kalyan district president Chandrakant Borade.
Padvi joined Shinde Sena on Sunday, while Borade jumped ship the previous night. Padvi is said to have left Sena (UBT) because was interested in fighting Nandurbar seat, but the seat is purportedly going to Congress. Maha Vikas Aghadi is yet to announce the allies’ seat share.
